I recently watched a video by YouTuber “Wear I Live” where she described her recent style inspiration and how the Vogue Runway app helped significantly in this journey. I have been lacking in inspiration when it comes to styling, especially for the upcoming fall season, so I decided to give the app a try. That was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I browsed the app for hours upon hours, saving looks from various runway shows from Japan to Copenhagen, Mexico City to NYC. Although I’m not as vocal about my love of fashion through my writing, it has always been an integral part of my life and personality, so I thought I would post a quick Trend forecast based on my findings from the Vouge Runway app, social media and my peers in general.
There has been a rise in high fem aesthetics such as Croquette and Balletcore, but there has also been a minor Indie Sleaze resurgence. Aside from those, I notice a lot of recurring silhouettes, patterns and styling choices. For context, I only saved images of more “wearable” outfits, so couture shows are not included.
